All cheerleaders should take camp seriously, but you take it to a whole new level. You’ve always been very organized, and you won’t settle for anything but the best, especially from your squad. You’ll be the one setting your alarm an extra 15 minutes early to make sure everyone else is up on time. You’ll watch everyone like a hawk to make sure they’re following the itinerary, sporting the correct team T-shirt for the day and keeping themselves hydrated and slathered in sunscreen. When you see teammates goofing off, you’ll put a stop to it immediately, and you’ll make sure each and every one of them is showing support for the other squads. Just make sure you don’t cross the line and go from ambitious go-getter to nagging Mommy. There are ways to keep your team on task without an eventual mutiny—they’re called please, thank you and a smile. If you answered mostly Bs, you’ll be the Spirit Stickler.
That Spirit Stick is going home with your squad, no matter what it takes. Back home you’re the spunky cheerleader who’s always bringing the positivity everywhere you go. When things go wrong, you’re right there with a hug and an encouraging word. And at pep rallies, you’re always one chant away from bringing down the gym ceiling. It’s not going to be any different at camp. You’re the kind of spirit powerhouse who can get any exhausted camper excited, and you’re going to redefine sportsmanship with your homemade chants to cheer on other squads. Don’t go so nuts that you lose your voice or pass out, but you should probably be prepared to put those spirit fingers on ice when you’re through. If you answered mostly Cs, you’ll be the Skill Sponge.
You always know the steps. You always know the words. You can efficiently quote movies after a one-time viewing. Let’s just say you’re the master at retaining information. And the best part is, you perfect the knowledge you gain. This is why your team is going to love having you at camp. When you start summer practices weeks later, and most of the squad is lost on the new dance routines and cheers you learned, you’ll be the one re-teaching the skills. So you go, girl. Learn those moves, memorize those cheers and blow everyone at camp away when you’re performing everything flawlessly on your second try.If you answered mostly Ds, you’ll be the Good-Time Gal.
We don’t doubt that you’re a fierce athlete, but a huge part of cheer for you is the memories you’re making. You can never have enough fun or make too many friends—it’s as simple as that. You’re the girl with enough energy to stay up all night gossiping and playing Guitar Hero. That’s why you throw the best sleepovers in school. And you’re going to throw the best sleepovers at camp, too. Once everyone is dismissed for the day, that’s when the fun begins! Your whole team will end up in your room, piled on the bed and across the floor, playing truth or dare and listening to your hilarious stories. Just make sure you know when to call lights out. Six o’clock is going to hit you pretty hard the next morning, so make sure you get enough sleep to keep the party going the next day!Bonus prize:
We’ve got shower totes from Kangaroom (a major camp necessity) and a Teen Cube from TableTopics with 135 questions to keep your squad gabbing and bonding! Let us know which camper you’ll be this summer, and you could be a winner! Click here to submit your results!
